I am a bad person! I've neglected this blog so much! I'm pretty sure the last time I did a proper post was August, how did that happen? How could I let that happen?! I think I tried to explain it by saying uni got busy or had exams but August, really?

Ok now that I've overused enough punctuation marks, I decided that before I got back into any proper blogging I'd give you guys an update in what's happened in my life since we last spoke. I feel like it's honestly been forever since we've had a good heart-to-heart and personal chat and that's just unacceptable!

It's been a good few months and quite a bit has happened to me, where shall we start? I guess we should start with the largest portion of my life: uni. At the beginning of november I had my second semester exams for biology, chemistry, mathematical statistics and contemporary tv studies. I feel I went alright with them except for statistics which I know I've failed but it's ok because I've spoken with friends and have a plan for next year to not be in this position again. This semester I have definitely slacked with my work ethic so the week before my exams I was literally watching lectures online everyday from the moment I woke up to the moment my eyes couldn't stay open any longer and that's no way to study for exams! I've definitely learnt a lesson this semester and hopefully that'll carry on for next year.

The social side of my uni life though has definitely picked up! I've made so many more new friends that I speak with daily. I found myself enjoying going to uni because I know I'll have a friendly face in lectures or labs. Also since turning eighteen at the end of last semester, I've been introduced to the world of uni parties and balls and crawls and everything in between. It's a great way to have fun and get to meet some new people and use it to spend time with the new people you have met in class and get to know their goofy side. Once you've broken that horribly thick ice, you become a lot closer and for me that's involved invitations to birthday events, lunch outings and shopping trips. I'm thinking I might do a first year of university 101 type video for the new graduates, what do you guys think? I'll have it out sometime next year though, closer to all the starting dates (sorry about international people for who I think it's too late).

Another aspect of my life that has picked up since uni concluded for the year is my youtube life! I neglected my channel for a while as well (so don't feel bad that I only forgot about you, I'm just a bad person all round). Since finishing uni I have definitely started posting more often, not as often as I would like, but it's better than nothing. Although now you can definitely expect a video from me at least once a month because I decided to start vlogging interesting days of my life and at the end of the month squeeze it all into one giant video, throw some music in the back and have a monthly video detailing my life. I'll link the one's I've uploaded before the completion of this post at the end and it would mean loads if you had a watch. I also (don't remember if I've mentioned this on my blog yet) have started a collab channel with my bestest chummies in the world Niki, Gen and Ellie called soybeanexperience and we each get a day of the week (Ellie monday, Gen tuesday, myself on thursday and Niki has friday) where we upload videos that take our fancy, so if you could take a look at that as well you are an amazing person! I personally do makeup videos so if you want to see me putting gunk on my face in real life I'd definitely click the link.

In my personal life nothing has changed much don't worry, I have started a new job but I'm obviously not going to reveal where but it's going swimmingly and I'm very happy. OH! I also most forgot, I had the most embarrassing experience with a guy in my chemistry lab that I made a very detailed video about and I'll link that here if you want to see me cringe. If you're having a bad day, trust me, watch it and you'll feel 100% better about yourself.

My friends and I have been up to a lot since August, we went to Phillip Island at the end of September which I did a Thoughts from Places post a few days ago, attended a Victory vs. Heart game, we celebrated Halloween, celebrated Julia, Jon and James' birthday but also Niki, Andrea and Emily had their birthdays, dressed fancy for a snow and science ball, went to AXP and a paint party! But don't forget the casual night outs as well. So yeah, it's been pretty hectic!
