Three hours out of Sydney is a small town with 159.9 fuel prices and literally 17 shops that make a shopping centre, was a little house that was soon going to be my home for the next six days.
The week before uni started again, Niki invited us up to her family beach house that as maybe a five minute walk from the house, I mean you could hear the ocean from the back porch, to spend our last few days of freedom in the only way true blue aussies know how. Like the house we had in St. Leonard's, there wasn't anything tourist-y within walking distance besides the beach so the week was just a relaxation, no hassle, no stress holiday.

We went crazy during the drive up Photo taken Feb 2014 |
I drove up with Gen and the drive was around eleven and a half hours including stops. We stopped at Albury and Goulburn for petrol refuelling and food. Gen had some silly tradition that her family does every time they cross the NSW-VIC border which was "good bye victoria... HELLO NEW SOUTH WALES!" which was quite amusing! Also I was kinda shitting myself driving through Goulburn because Gen kept freaking me out with "let's go visit Ivan Milat, my bestie!" (you can google that one).

I probably should tell you how went with us: Me, Gen, Niki, Antony, Richie, Christian and Alex. The seven of us spent the week hanging, swimming, fishing, having a few drinks and marathoning tv shows. I owe Richie my favourite new TV show Archer, but revisited oldies like Community and How I Met Your Mother.

There isn't much more to say besides that it was a week I loved. I rediscovered my love for swimming, even though I have a fear of the ocean, and appreciate my family so much more for not waking me up every morning with music blasting from a wall away.
There aren't many photos because that wasn't in the forefront of our minds but there are a few here and there that'll I'll try and find.
Hope you enjoyed reading and I'll talk to you soon!
