After only getting 4 and a half hours sleep, we were actually in good spirits besides some hurt feet and backs but we just need a little spot of breakfast and we were good to go.

30 Day Snap #17 | Photos Galore!

I spent the day putting up photos I printed over a year and a half ago! But anyway, it's made my room so much more "lived in" I guess compared to the white shelf that it used to be.

In fact I've spent the past two days rearranging my room and I'm much happier with how things look. I'm still not 100% happy, but for now it'll do.

Review: Essence Sun Club Shimmer Bronzing Powder

Hey guys, so I'm back with another review; this time it's the Essence Bronzing Powder in 10 Sunkissed for blondes/lighter skin. I picked up this product because I heard a really good recommendation for it and since it was only $5.35 at priceline I jumped at the opportunity to own a cheap effective bronzer. When I was buying it, I noticed the powder did look a bit light and a bit dry, but I thought "the reviews say it's great, BELIEVE!" 

So when I got home I eagerly opened the package and swatched it on my wrist annnnnndddddddd.... it was the biggest let down EVER! (Ok bit of an exaggeration) but it's probably in top 5 most disappointing products. The packaging wasn't anything specially, but that's fine because it's not all about packaging is it? But the powder itself was really chalky and dry and had no pigmentation at all. I literally scrubbed the surface of the powder and barely any came off and looking at it, it seemed as if the product hadn't even been touched. The powder itself was so light that it would be more suited as a face powder instead of a bronzer and I'm usually around the second lightest foundation shade so I couldn't imagine anyone darker than me using it. The stand only had one shade despite the back having a shade number and range but I don't think I'll buy it again even if it comes darker just because of the consistency.

It's safe to say that I did return it and it was sad to have a product that was disappointing from the Essence range because I do love some of their products.

I literally spent the day eating Shapes today because exam study doesn't really mean I have time to go and make a nice meal. I know don't judge!

I'm not complaining, I mean SHAPES! COME ON! Though I do wish they were Pizza flavoured...

Only a few move days until I can relax a bit before my next exam.

30 Day Snap #8 | My Nail Polish

So today's photo is just of the nails I'm wearing. I decided to change my nails to this beautiful blue. The colour I'm wearing is the Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamel in 170 Coastal Surf. The photo doesn't do it justice because I had to use my iPhone today; sorry!

Anyway the colour is just the perfect bright blue beach colour, the colour of it will remind you so much of the colour of the sky or water of the ocean in children's books so it's nice to wear to add a pop of colour is drizzly Melbourne.

30 Day Snap #7 | I Wet Myself

No I didn't actually pee myself...

My snap today is of an accident that happened on the bus. I got off the bus to find a giant stain on my lap and this was at a busy shopping centre so you could imagine the looks.

What actually happened was the lid of my water bottle had come loose while my bag was on my lap on the bus, so as the water gradually dripped and seeped through the bag, on to my leg, a giant puddle was left. Let's just be thankful that it wasn't 5cm north of that location.

30 Day Snap #6 | Kitty

Hey guys,

So day 6 is a bit, well a lot, of a sad one. Obviously this photo wasn't taken today but rather 14 years ago of my cat and I. 

I don't want to repeat the story here because it's quite long and sad so I'll condense it down to I came home and found my cat, Kitty (could you tell we named her when we were 4?), in an extremely ill state and so after rushing her to the vet clinic the only thing we could do for her was to put her down. What happened was so sudden and everything happened so fast. She was 14 years old.

She has honestly been with us since some of the earliest memories I have and now that she's gone there's something missing in the house and it's not right.

She was literally Grumpy cat before Grumpy cat. She didn't like being held all the time nor the most friendly towards visitors but she was always around. The best way to describe her is like the old lady that didn't like anyone, but she somehow still held a place in your heart.

I'm going to miss her so much.

30 Day Snap #3 | Embarrassing Friends

Hey guys! Told you I'd go outside today!

Anyway, today I was at uni for a solid 7 and a half hours studying... well 5 hours, I'm not going to lie. But anyway, after sitting on what felt like a piece of wood listening to 4 weeks of chemistry jammed into 2 and a half hours, I think my brain had melted so after we got out my friends Niki, Massi and Tom  hung out for a bit and I don't think I've laughed that much in ages.

30 Day Snap #2 | Mud Mask

Hey guys! Today was definitely a stress-filled day and lots of exam revision was attempted, so I didn't really get to go out and take amazing pictures of the sunset of whatever for my day 2 snap.

It was getting really late and I was really struggling to think of something to publish today but I also realised it's not about have the most exciting life of amazing pictures, it's about taking photos of your everyday life. Well this is my life: staying up at 12.30, clay masking it up and procrastinating exam revision.

So seeing as it's 12.30 and I have my face mask on for some relaxing pore cleaning goodness, I decided to take a selfie and have it as my snap today to show that sometimes you need to just have some pamper  time to yourself.

30 Day Snap #1 | Challenge Yourself

Hey Guys, I know I'm a day late but I am taking part of the 30 Day Snap Challenge started by one of my favourite beauty bloggers Louise.

Basically the challenge is to take a picture everyday for the month of June and write a post about it. It doesn't have to be any fancy but just something that you want to remember for the day. I'll link Louise's post about it here so you can read about it properly.
